My love for cooking and eating great food is the inspiration for this site. I grew up in a traditional guyanese home where home-cooking was an everyday thing. It was therefore automatic that I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with various family members preparing food. This website is a dedication to all those people in my life who have guided and inspired me in the kitchen (my mother, sisters, aunts, cousins, uncles and other family members). Goal: My aim is to establish an extensive data base where guyanese and non-guyanese alike, can have access to a variety of guyanese cuisine and also share the guyanese recipes that they have enjoyed. |
