Hot Pepper Sauce

Description

This is an easy hot sauce to make and it keeps for a very long time. Use it to spice up any dish!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. hot peppers (for example: wiri wiri, scotch bonnet, etc)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber (peeled and grated)
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1 tsp. oil

Methods/steps

  1. Cut the stem off the peppers
  2. Using a blender, blend the pepper, garlic and onion.
  3. Place pepper mixture into a bowl and add cucumber, salt, oil and vinegar. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Transfer to a clean container (glass is best) and close with a tight lid.
* a jar of this will last months!
