Fried Channa (chick peas)

Description
A Tastey snack, that you can make as spicy as you like it!Ingredients

- 2 cans chickpeas (19 oz)
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 green onion (finely chopped)
- 1 clove of garlic (minced)
- pinch of cumin
- 3 tbsp corn oil
- 1 tsp hot pepper (optional)
Methods/steps
- Using a colander, drain the water from the chick peas (you can use paper towel to absorb any remaining water)
- In a deep pan/ pot, heat oil on medium heat
- Add chopped onion, garlic, green onion and cumin.
- Fry for about 2-3 minutes on medium heat
- Add chickpeas and 1 tsp of salt, and turn
- Add pepper (optional) and continue cooking for another 5 minutes on low heat
- Once cooled, add remaining salt, according to your taste
