Guava Juice

- Firm ripen pink lady guavas
- Warm water, enough to cover guavas
- Sugar (white granulated) – to taste or sweetened
- ½ - 1 teaspoon Angostura aromatic bitters (Optional)
Methods/steps
- Ripe guavas (firm, pink lady, preferred) Wash, cut out ends, and slice.
- Place slices in a large pot with warm water (just enough to cover them). Boil guava until it is very soft or for however long it takes
- Pour softened guavas into a clean cheese cloth, muslin or any clean white (prefer) hand towel. Over a large bowl or jug, gently squeeze first, and then gently wring cloth until all juices are out.
- Set aside
- Sweeten with sugar to taste
- For clear juice, do not squeeze cloth. Just strain, sweeten and serve with ice cubes
- Serve with ice cubes immediately, or bottle for future use.

Additional Tips
You can make any other juices with this same method - such as: tamarind juice, soursop juice, passion fruit juice, sopadillia juice or pineapple juice
