Fried Plantain

Description

My mom makes these all the time. They are easy to make and yummy!

  • 2 ripe plantains
  • 1/4 c vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp margarine/butter

Methods/steps

  1. Preheat oil in a frying pan on med-high heat

  2. Peel the plantains and cut in half. Slice the halves lengthwise into thin pieces

  3. Place plantain slices in pan and fry until golden brown on each side. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
